Above: I made these chocolate spoons for my coffee~loving girlfriends~~we love treating each other to "semi~homemade" unique gifts~~our limit is under $10.00; must be partially home~made and a touch of vintage~~
I bought plastic clear and white spoons and DG had these simple silver spoons (3 for $1.00)~~~great for the choc. spoons; recipe at allrecipes.com~~they turned out perfect and yummy stirred in coffee or hot cocoa.
Here's what I picked up at Dollar Store to add with my chocolate spoons~~
Bought a big, black coffee mug to add some "spoons" and a cute little snowman dish~~
I love this cute "cafe" pattern--hey--$1.00 each; awesome!
Dollar Store also has a little matching tray~~perfect for cookies on the side~~
One of my friends collects vintage Santa cups~~found two this week and will add some chocolate spoons for her gifting~~so I'm just about done~~
"But Wait"~~then I saw this neat shelf liner paper in black and white toile~~I'm really loving this paper and plan to buy every roll of it~~(lining for drawers, projects, etc)~~
and found a cute 2012 calendar (it's gonna be here before we know it)~~
Fixed up a vintage clip~board~~this paper is awesome and sooo easy to use~~
If I had time, I would have painted the edges of the clip~board black and distressed~~it still is my favorite project so far this week~~
I hope you loved these cheap bargain gifts as much as I do; enjoyed using my creative thoughts for little gifts for my friends~~I think they'll love it.
Here's were the fabulous parties are~~see you there!
